The Art

Ramona is known for her line of pottery which she has tagged “The Art of Dimples”. Her works is based on her imaginings of unknown creatures and pretty little shiny things, like gemstones nestled into a rough rock.  Each piece is made in stoneware, which she decorates by adding and subtracting bits, then firing glass balls into her glazes to create interesting variations in the final colours.

The Artist

Ramona was born in BC and now makes her home in the Comox Valley. She attended the Emily Carr Institute where she obtained a Fine Arts degree in 2005. Ramona is also a painter. Her studio, Elementerra Art Studio, is located in Merville.
