The Art – Harriet’s Art Cards

Harriet’s collage art cards have many different elements including ceramic bits, musical scores, hand painted images and found and collected treasures. Each is hand made and never duplicated, so at $8.50 each, they are a steal! Harriet’s cards are blank inside so you can personalize however you wish.

Harriet has recently started including a card and envelope for her jewelry and button line. Like the collage cards, they are all one-of-a-kind art pieces and sell for only $9.00 each. These little treasures are perfect for a last minute gift for a hostess, pet sitter, teacher or thoughtful ‘just because’ surprise for someone special in your life.

The Artist

Harriet Hiemstra is one of our potters, but also enjoys making art cards and collages. Harriet studied at Kootenay School of art and specializes in Art Deco images of ladies especially from the glamourous flapper period. She and her husband John Robertson own Cobble Hill Pottery and are both foremost artists in The Pottery Store.
