The Pottery Store Guest Artist Program

The Pottery Store is a successful high-traffic gallery-style retail outlet with a prime location in Chemainus, the busiest tourist town on Vancouver Island.
 
In its fourteen years of operation, The Pottery Store has established a sizeable clientele from all over the world who make it a point to visit the store regularly, either in person or online. Traditionally, the Pottery Store has only sold pottery created by its owners. Now we are pleased to announce our new Guest Artist Program, which is a sales opportunity open to all Vancouver Island and Gulf Island potters.

 

The Guest Artist Program is open to Vancouver Island and Gulf Island potters who would be interested in access to an established retail outlet in a dynamic market. It is also an opportunity for The Pottery Store to work with new artists and to offer a greater diversity of ceramic art to its customers.

Each selected Guest Artist will be showcased in a dedicated sales display in The Pottery Store for a two-month period. The Pottery Store will host an opening reception and provide invitations and advertising. There will be three Guest Artists in 2010, starting in July, and our plan is to host six in 2011.
